Youth Darts Project Leader – Wigtown
Contract: Part-time, fixed term for 12 months.
Salary: £18.00 Per Hour.
Shift Type: Some evenings required.
Contracted hours: 3 hours per week.
The Youth Darts is a new project to provide a weekly session for young people, 11 to 18, to play darts and socialise for two hours per week throughout the year.
We’re looking for an organised and compassionate Project Lead to establish this new project and develop plans to enable it to continue beyond the initial 12 months.

| Job Purpose: | To manage the Youth Darts weekly programme in Wigtown. |
| KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | |
| Youth Darts Programme | • Provide an overall view of the Youth Darts programme. • Work with the Youth Darts Activity Leader to create an overall plan for the first 12 months. • Exploring and developing fundraising opportunities for the programme to help it to continue beyond the first year. • Work with the Youth Darts Activity Leader to ensure the smooth operation of the weekly sessions, including, but not limited to, managing the hall booking, dealing with issues with equipment and services, providing a point of escalation for issues or disputes. |
| Other Responsibilities | • Work with other similar darts groups across Dumfries and Galloway to develop competitions for the young people and opportunities for collaboration. • Work with Driftwood Cinema to provide monthly feedback and escalate any issues. |
