Membership Terms of Service

Driftwood Cinema Limited Group membership is open to community based, non profit organisations working towards a shared ambition to extend film choice, increase and broaden film audiences, and enhance opportunities for audiences to engage with and learn about film.

The region covered by Driftwood Cinema Limited is Dumfries and Galloway, South Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire and Mid-Lothian

All members agree to:

  1. Participate in Community Film Screenings and Group Membership activity with a sense of openness, purpose and generosity, supporting the principle that the sharing of ideas will result in better outcomes for all involved.
  2. Comply with laws, rules, regulations and guidelines applicable to the exhibition of film (voluntary or statutory).
  3. Keep regular and open lines of communication, discussing opportunities and concerns relating to Community Film Screening.
  4. Not commit any act, which shall prejudice or damage the reputation of anyone concerned with Driftwood Cinema Limited or other Group Members.
  5. Embrace the key principles that the network is of and for members; member engagement and support is fundamental to the longer-term legacy of Community Film Screening.

The membership is activated once the following conditions have been met:

The membership application form is completed online or emailed to info@driftwoodcinema.org.

The potential member agrees to the terms and conditions as highlighted above.

The Driftwood Cinema Limited Administrator confirms that the Member meets the membership criteria to join Driftwood Cinema based on the information provided.

The annual membership fee has been paid.
