Wake Up WigtownA short film by Ben Please.

Part of the ‘Together Again’ season organised and funded by the independent arts organisation DG Unlimited, with additional funding from Dumfries & Galloway Council.

As part of the Together Again project, Driftwood Cinema commissioned Ben Please to create a short film to be shot entirely within Wigtown and the Machars to reflect the community spirit of this area. The resulting work is a wonderful moment in time captured with humour, love and respect for the people and place that is Wigtown and the Machars.Join us for the Premiere screening of Ben’s film ‘Wake Up Wigtown’, with additional archival Wigtownshire film footage. The film screening will be followed by a short Q&A with Ben.
