Contract: Part-time, fixed term for 12 months.
Salary: £15.00 Per Hour.
Shift Type: Evenings.
Contracted hours: 8 hours per week.
The Youth Darts is a new project to provide a weekly session for young people, 11 to 18, to play darts and socialise for two hours per week throughout the year.
We’re looking for a creative and compassionate Activity Lead to bring energy, laughter, and meaningful engagement with the young people.
What We Offer
£15 per hour
Contracted 8 hours per week
This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to make a real impact by helping young people stay connected and truly feel part of a community.
Why this role matters:
Providing a safe social space based around an activity is an important element of engaging young people and supporting good mental health and wellbeing. As the Activity Lead, you’ll support the young people to participate in darts, and create a safe social environment, providing social interaction, friendly competition and access to food and wi-fi.
What we’re looking for:
You don’t need a background in care or entertainment just a big heart and a genuine passion for working with young people. You’re someone who brings warmth and enthusiasm into every room, and you know how to spark conversation, laughter, or a sense of calm when it’s needed most.
About you:
You’ll be organised and confident working with young people, adaptable when plans change, and always focused on making each weekly session inclusive and enjoyable. If you’ve got experience planning or running activities in any setting, that’s a bonus but it’s your ability to connect with young people that really matters.
Apply today and join a team where every day brings new opportunities to make a difference.
Because this role involves working with children, you’ll need to be a member of the PVG Scheme before starting. We’ll arrange this as part of the recruitment process.
